Legacy Gastro Suites

Heraklion, Crete

Located in the centre of Heraclion, the capital of Crete, this building which dates back to the 50s, was renovated and transformed into a 5 star luxury boutique hotel. The hotel consists of twelve unique suites inspired from the cultural heritage of the island. Three eminent personalities –with Cretan ancestry- were the inspiration behind the interior design. The painter El Greco, the writer Nikos Kazantzakis and the poet Vintsenzo Kornaros gave their names and defined the concept design. Every room is elegant, luxurious and sophisticated, full of custom made furniture. Impressive chandeliers, mirrors and velvet sofas reflect the beauty and the style of past eras. Furthermore, guests can taste greek gourmet delicacies, chosen from the gastronomic tradition of the island, in the custom made food stations. Every room has an interesting story to tell. Every story is part of the “Legacy”.
